More About Our Medical Travel Coolers for Insulin & Refrigerated Medication
Can 4AllFamily’s medical coolers be used for insulin?
Of course! Actually, our designs initially targeted insulin storage requirements and all our medical travel cooler are suitable for traveling with insulin.
Depending on your chosen model, our cooling cases can accommodate up to 15 insulin pens and numerous vials.
Remember, it's crucial to keep your in-use insulin pens and vials shielded from heat, maintaining them at room temperatures not exceeding 26°C. Additionally, any unopened insulin should be stored at a refrigerated temperature between 2-8°C.
Our coolers are engineered to maintain these temperatures range, with some performing fridge temperature and others room temperature control, or even both!
For specific cooling capabilities and durations of our products, please review the information on each product page.
Our coolers are compatible with most insulin pens and vials, including Admelog, Afreeza, Apidra, Basaglar, Fiasp, Humalog, Humulin, Lantus, Levemir, Lyumjev, Novolin, Novolog, Novorapid, Ryzodeg, Toujeo, Tresiba, Velosulin, Xultophy, and more.
Are 4AllFamily’s Insulin Coolers compatible with other diabetes injections?
Yes!ᅠOur medical and insulin coolers are perfectly suitable for any injection for diabetics that requires refrigeration or temperature control, including Ozempic, Byetta, Trulicity, Victoza, and others.
On each product page, you can verify how many of your specific injection pens, syringes, or vials can fit in the cooler.
Can 4AllFamily’s Medication Travel Coolers be used to carry Growth Hormone injections?
Absolutely. Growth hormones are highly sensitive to temperatures and must be kept refrigerated or protected from heat. For instance:
Norditropin must be refrigerated before use. Once opened, it can be kept at room temperature below 25°C for 3 weeks or refrigerated between 2-8°C for 4 weeks.
Genotropin must also be refrigerated before use. After first injection, Genotropin should be protected from heat and always kept below 25°C.
Humatrope needs to be refrigerated too. After first use, Humatrope cartridges can be stored at fridge temperature between 2-8°C for up to 28 days (14 days for Humatrope vials)
Nutropin must stay refrigerated at all times and must be used within 28 days after first use.
Saizen must be refrigerated and is stable for 28 days after first use if stored in refrigerator (of which 7 days can be outside of the fridge below 25°C).
Serostim vials can be stored at room temperature before reconstitution. Once reconstituted, the solution must be refrigerated.
If you’re travelling with growth hormones, our medical-grade cooling cases ensure your medication is safe and transported at the optimal temperature.
Can 4AllFamily’s Medical Coolers be used to transport RA Injections?

Humira (adalimumab) must be refrigerated before use and kept under 25°C for up to 14 days once open.
