Cooling performances, temperature control, and anti-freeze security

At what temperature 4AllFamily’s medicine portable coolers keep medicines cold?

Our medical coolers can keep your insulin and medicines both safe at room temperature (under 26°C) or cold at fridge temperature (2-8°C). You can check the specific cooling methods, performances, and duration for each product on its description page.

Can 4AllFamily’s medicine coolers keep medicines at fridge temperature?

Yes. All our coolers can perform fridge temperature (2-8°C) to keep your medicines safe like they would be in your fridge at home. The refrigeration duration will vary according to several factors:

  • The model you’re choosing
  • The outside temperature
  • The cooling method you’re using

Our most performance cooler is the Voyager Mini Fridge for Medicines. It’s capable of keeping medicines safe at fridge temperature for an unlimited time when working on power, and for up to 33 hours when working on Biogel Cold packs

How can I control the temperature inside the cooling case?

All our portable coolers for insulin and medicines have been tested at the laboratory, and the products’ cooling performances are accurate and reliable. However, we know from experience that traveling with refrigerated medications is stressful, and controlling the temperature provides a great peace of mind.

That’s why our new upgraded Portable medical fridge now comes with a temperature display screen. It shows you the temperature inside your cooling bottle at any desired moment!

Is there a security preventing my insulin and medicines from freezing?

Yes! Insulin and temperature-sensitive medications must be kept cool, but never should they freeze. Freezing temperatures can degrade your insulin.

Our new Portable medical fridge comes with an integrated thermostat and anti-freeze security. If the inside temperature drops under 2°C, it automatically shuts off and goes back on power whenever the temperature reaches 8°C again.

Moreover, our coolers are made to work with Biogel Freeze packs instead of water ice packs. Your insulin and medicines freeze at 0°C. Unlike water, Biogel crystals freeze at 2°C. This naturally prevents your meds from freezing in contact with ice.
